Bus Fee for 2008-09 School Year is $700.00 (round trip).
Gabriel Richard Catholic High School currently has three established bus routes to service GR Families. One bus route covers the areas WEST of GR, including New Boston, Romulus and Belleville; a second bus route services areas NORTH of Gabriel Richard, including Allen Park, Taylor, Wyandotte and Lincoln Park, and SOUTH of Gabriel Richard including Woodhaven, Brownstown, Flat Rock, and Rockwood areas. All bus routes are designed based on the students who apply for transportation at the beginning of the school year. While we try to include all students who request service, it is sometimes not possible to include certain outlying areas. Since each bus route covers an extensive area, door to door service is not always possible and students may be serviced from a centralized location.
Bus service to and from school is provided each and every day of school. Students may purchase one-way or round trip transportation packages. Day passes are also available for students on an as needed basis, providing the bus run is within a reasonable distance of the student’s destination. Carpooling to and from GR is highly encouraged. Names and telephone numbers of GR families are listed in the GR student directory to assist families in arranging carpools.
