About Me:

I'm an energetic person who is happy being a member of the GR community. I am married and have two sons and one daughter-in-law. My husband and I reside in Gibraltar for the past three years. Before that, we lived in Wyandotte for 30 years.
Being a teacher at GR keeps me very busy. Teaching
composition and literature for all skill levels (9th and 10th
grades) challenges me every school day. I want to maintain the
high standard of education that GR has continued to offer. Making sure students are being taught fundamentals that will aid them in college and the work force is one of my major goals. I truly feel inspired when I see a student grasp the understanding of a grammar concept or find the literary techniques that the author used to help the reader understand the story. This connection makes all the preparation and instruction worthwhile.
When I have spare time, I do have certain things I like to do. These activities include visiting family, doing crossword puzzles, reading inspirational novels, listening to music, dancing at festivals, or traveling to my Florida home.
I hope this short autobiographical selection helps you to
understand who your son or daughter sees on a regular basis during the school year. Also, remember that when we say WE ARE GR, we also mean WE ARE FAMILY!
