About Me:

I started my career at GR as a freshman during the ’98 – ’99 school year. Coming to GR was an easy decision. As soon as I started looking at high schools during my 8th grade year, I soon realized that GR was THE place to get a quality high school education.

Throughout my years as a student at GR, I had a strong interest in Computers and beginning my sophomore year, I served as a Computer Lab Aide (Computer Lab Technician in the Course Booklet). To the best of my knowledge, I am the only student to have served as a Lab aide during his sophomore year.

At the end of my senior year I was offered a part-time job covering most of the daily operations of our network. During the next three years, I took over increasing responsibilities in the computer department.

GR’s wonderful faculty and staff, who guided me through my four years of education, have been every bit as supportive of me in my new position as they had been when I was a student in their classes. The most difficult part of my transition from student to staff was learning to address my former teachers by their first names!

Since the 2005-2006 school year I have worked full-time at GR. The increasing size of our network along with our increased integration of technology necessitated a full-time employee available during the full school day. I took on the additional responsibilities of managing our administrative database system, working with Kathy LeBoeuf and Anna Fedor on the school’s website, assisting with our Desktop Publishing classes, and monitoring the cafetorium during lunches my first year—a true trial-by-fire! My involvement with the school’s website, while less than while I was a student (I created and maintained that site mostly on my own), landed me a spot on GR’s marketing committee.
